Scott Schwartz, LISW
Mental Health as a Licensed Independent Social Worker
Helping clients identify, accept, and heal from trauma are among Scott's strong suits. He is certified in EMDR, body-centered psychotherapies, mindfulness, sensorimotor psychotherapy, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma response of yoga, motivational interviewing, and somatic processing. Decreasing the emotional intensity attached to traumatic life experiences is possible.
When he's not working, Scott can be found riding his Harley Davidson, disc golfing, gardening, or walking his dog. His powerlifting days may be over but he practices from a strength-based, trauma-informed lens and he welcomes all walks of life!
“I love walking alongside people through difficult times and the self discovery that results from it. I create a space where people are welcome, supported, and empowered in their therapeutic journeys. ”
